End of a Long Sad Week

Well Friday is finally here and this week was a long sad one. The B-52 went down while waiting to do a fly over for Guam's liberation day (the day America helped liberate Guam from Japanese control). We will probably never know how or why the plane went down.

Today we had a touching memorial service today. We payed tribute to the 6 Airman we lost on Monday--5 from Barksdale and Doc Martin.

Doc Martin was a very special man. I only knew him about a month, but he was always there to help or provide support. He was always smiling and had a hardy laugh. He will be missed by all. Please keep his wife Ursula (who is 8 months pregnant with their first son) and his daughter Gemni in your thoughts and prayers.
